Can a song save a life?
Sarah is the president and co-founder of Firm Foundations Romania (FFR), a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of disadvantaged children by providing love and care, educational guidance along with sharing the Gospel of Jesus. She is also a singer/songwriter/worship leader, co-founder of Sarah Vienna Music - (SVM) composing lyrics which are a powerful reflection of her life journey and faith since moving to Romania in 2003. Born in Boston , raised in Northern California, she ventured to Romania through Youth With A Mission (YWAM). After her 2 month outreach in the city of Brasov, her heart was captured by God telling her to go and leave her homeland as a missionary to Romania. With over 15 years of living in this country, she now shares her story themed, "I Will Go", around the world through music, leading worship, and speaking engagements.
Her latest release 'I'm Alive' gives voice to a baby in a mother's womb and is a continuation of her mission to "defend the cause of the needy and poor and to uplift the oppressed" - Psalm 82:3. Can a song save a life? Sarah believes it can.
